there are no words for this little one. he is the most amazing little man & i can barely wrap my brain around the fact that he will be one whole year old in just a mere 3 weeks.
i haven't done a very good job of updating monthly but trust me when i say that each month of his life that has passed has been one that has made our entire so so very happy. he is just an absolute dream. if you've met him you know. it is a very very rare occasion to see ben cry....mostly he jabbers, and laughs, and grins ear to ear. his personality has really bloomed and not only is he my sweet snuggly little bear....he's my little goofball too. funny faces and noices...anything to get a smile or a giggle out of you. he gives the greatest little hugs and is quite the conversationalist ~ sit him on your lap and a great discussion is pretty much guarunteed. he was a late crawler, thanks to his size, but he has surely made up for lost time! he reminds me of a little puppy, still unaware of how big their frame is meant to be. his hands hitting the ground as he clammers around our house sound like adult footsteps and he squeals in delight as he goes. fast. really really fast. he's in full on cruising mode now ~ often standing unassisted and it is only a matter of time before he takes his first step. i can't think about that now though....that seems way too grown up for a mommy still in shock that it's almost been one whole delightful year of ben.
he's tall and wide ~ weighing in at nearly 30 lbs. his almost 3 year old sister can wear his shorts and i can say with confidence that my arms get quite the workout when i carry him around. but its SO worth it and i dread the day those delicious baby rolls disappear {with the amount of food he eats, thankfully i think we've got some time :) }. swoon.
little man of mine, there are no words except to say that i love you like no other. and always will.
